Inside Keeper of the Dead
Preview Pages
Hello there, my new friend,
Come on in, take a look,
Get lost in the pages,
Of this haunting book.
There’s something for everyone,
Well, most everyone, at least,
If you like spirit-filled pages,
That won’t let you Rest In Peace.
The spirits inside are lonely,
They’d love to haunt your head,
But that can only happen,
If you read Keeper of the Dead.
From Back Cover:
Donna M. Monnig, co-author of Echoes of Time, brings you tales of chilling, thrilling, and haunting contemplation. Some of it’s serious. Some of it’s senseless, some will bring a tear and leave you defenseless.
Seriously … we’re not sure there are words to describe it. People have tried.
“Your mind is a scary place.” – Her Mother
“It’s like a mix of Edgar Allan Poe and H.P. Lovecraft
with your own deranged-Donna flare.” – Her Friend
“What have I done?” – Herself
But really, don’t let the opinions of others slay, er, we mean sway you. Decide for yourself. Take your time.
The dead are always waiting.
Keeper of the Dead is 92 pages of rhyming poetry with beautiful, haunting illustrations throughout. Perfect for anyone who has a fascination with haunting stories, gothic tales, noir, and more. About the Author
With a voracious appetite for reading and a passion for writing, Donna can often be found in the vicinity of books. While her latest collection, Keeper of the Dead, may be her creepiest to date, she is capable of writing non-creepy poetry, as evidenced by Echoes of Time, which she co-authored in 2009, and her upcoming collection, Escaping Destiny, which involves disenchanted fairy tales.
She also enjoys writing fiction. And non-fiction. And children’s books. She has many more collections in the works, so stay tuned for more adventures headed your way.
